AVFC Official Cornwall Lions Supporters Club

Cornwall Lions is one of the newest Official Supporters Club and is a welcoming, friendly and social group with a community focus.

Our membership numbers are growing across the county, and are keen to welcome new faces who are like-minded Villa supporters.

Dave Wickes

Dave is a life-long Villa fan, has a Season ticket and has spent several years following the Villa with Devon and Somerset Lions (Committee Member) before realising the demand across the County.

Dave wrote to Villa, gained official recognition for Cornwall Lions and is going from strength to strength.

During Dave’s extensive and lengthy travels to Villa (both home and away) he has meet and befriended a number of former Villa players who have supported the new Lions Club; Peter Withe, Tony Daley, Shaun Teale, Tony Morley, Jimmy Rimmer, Brian Little, Dennis Mortimer, Allan Evans, Phil King, Sid Cowans, Big Ron, John Gregory, Martin O’Neill, Dean Saunders and more to follow.
